What Are the Proframe RS Helmet’s Key Safety Features?

The new helmet is an updated version of the brand’s original Proframe, so it inherits the same lightweight, breathable build that put its predecessor on the map, but ramps up the level of protection with added safety features.

The Proframe RS sports the all-new Mips® Integra Split protection system which sandwiches a ‘low friction’ layer between the helmet’s energy-absorbing foam layers to reduce any crash-induced rotational force that would otherwise be transferred to a rider’s head. This results in better protection during both low- and high-speed impacts.

Additionally, increased ventilation and decreased surface contact helps keep you cooler on long, sweaty rides. An Ionic+ anti-microbial liner reduces odor, while multi-sized cheek pads keep the helmet in place for the ride ahead. The updated BOA® fit system enables a new level of micro-adjustability that ensures class-leading fit and security.
