Field Notes design its new limited edition Index Collection to make taking notes about your passions and hobbies easier.
Unlike the standard lined blank pages found in most Field Notes notebooks, a new Log Book notebook sports page layouts tailored to quickly and neatly jotting down vital details about a product or experience for easy reference later.

The use cases Field Notes provides as guiding examples include tracking new recipes you’ve cooked or concerts you’ve attended. Perhaps we’re biased, but jotting down thoughts on whiskeys you’ve tried seems like a stronger fit. Recording beer and wine tasting notes would work just as well.
A key page at the front of the notebook provides space for users to outline a template for each subsequent log entry. There’s also space for building out a table of contents to quickly find log entries later.
Every other two-page series is reserved for individual log entries and includes dedicated spaces for key details (think: whiskey brand, type and price) and a pre-printed 5-star rating system outline to record a top-line score. There’s even a 2×3″ space for adding anything from a ticket stub, label or a pocket-sized photo.
