KitchenAide Stand Mixer Save $100 Today, the matte black color of the best mixer money can buy is $100 off at Sierra Trading Post, a deal usually reserved for marketing holidays and other such things.
Eddie Bauer BC EverTherm Down Jacket Save $249: Last year, Eddie Bauer released Thindown, an innovative down insulation that arranges feathers in fabric-like sheets rather than loose clusters. Thindown, which debuted in the EverTherm jacket, eliminates the need for down jackets to use baffles and in turn, disposes of stitching and the cold spots it creates. Long story short, the new fluff helped Eddie Bauer make a down jacket that was lighter and warmer.
This year, Eddie Bauer continued the development of Thindown with a new down jacket called the BC EverTherm. The jacket’s evolution goes back further than Thindown though; years ago, Seth Waterfall, a member of Eddie Bauer’s First Ascent athlete development team, approached the group with the idea to make a waterproof, down-filled hardshell jacket and was met with eye rolls. It would be too heavy, and down clusters are useless once they get damp.
Thindown allows the BC EverTherm to clear those hurdles; it’s lighter, and its down sheets are treated with DWR. “It’s as close as I’ve seen to the best ski shell, belay jacket, do-it-all working person’s mountain jacket,” says Waterfall, who played a crucial role in its ultimate design and tested it during climbs of Mt. Rainier and other peaks in the Cascades.
The BC EverTherm was designed with those high-alpine environments in mind, but its functions apply wherever winter weather may vary unpredictably between snow and rain (like, for instance, New York City). And even though the jacket is brand new for this fall, you can get it today for 50 percent off — that’s $250 — when you use the code SPECIAL at checkout. — Tanner Bowden
Lodge 10-Inch Cast-Iron Skillet Save 33% Lodge’s skillets start at the very economical $15 range. Today, its classic kitchen standard 10-inch skillet is marked down to $10 on Sierra Trading Post. What’s the difference between a cheap Lodge and one of the specialty brands? Cooking-wise, not a ton — most of the boutique skillets have machined surfaces, which are generally superior when it comes to releasing food from the surface (eggs, especially), and some have quirky design features that are useful to some degree (Finex’s handles, Field’s super light weight, etc.).
R.M. Williams Tonal Sydney Boot Save 44%:In recent years, Australian bootmaker R.M. Williams has expanded its reach across the world. The brand — which was founded in Adelaide in 1932 — received substantial investment from L Capital (a private-equity fund sponsored by LVMH), along with IFM Investors and Hugh Jackman. For a brand that rose to prominence offering riding boots, leather goods and saddles for cattlemen, the significance of this can’t be overstated. What these global investors saw in the brand was a quintessential Chelsea boot that should be available to a much wider audience. The boots are made from a single-piece leather upper, have a clean silhouette, a simple pull-on style and superior durability. Though the design hasn’t changed much over the past eight decades, the price has risen to something that leans more towards luxury than workwear. But now for a limited time, you can save 44 percent on a pair of Tonal Sydney Boots at Need Supply. The style has a tan suede upper, a chisel toe and a leather sole. Normally $495, it’s just $278 while supplies last. — John Zientek

Billy Reid Bond Peacoat Save 29%:In a scene from the 2012 Bond film Skyfall, leading man Daniel Craig stalks an assassin through a high-rise in Shanghai. In the action-packed sequence, Craig wears a dark tailored peacoat, deviating from Bond’s iconic black-tie attire. The peacoat, it turns out, was made by Alabama-based designer Billy Reid and was a personal favorite of Craig’s long before the movie was produced. “Daniel was a customer and had purchased the peacoat, a couple of years before he started filming the movie,” Reid told GQ a few years ago. “And he just loved the coat. And when they started filming, he said, ‘I want to wear this coat in the movie.’” After Skyfall hit theaters, Billy Reid saw the style surge in popularity, and now, six years later, the wool-blend coat is still a staple of the brand’s outerwear collection. Made in Italy, the double-breasted coat features a tailored fit, horn buttons, a single vent and leather detailing under the collar. Normally $695, the Bond Peacoat is on sale now at East Dane and costs just $487. For a quality coat that’s good enough for the silver screen’s top spy, that’s quite the deal. — John Zientek

If you’re not one them, slash 20 percent off the suggested retail price of this 7-quart slow cooker from the most trusted name in the business. Laco Pilot’s Watches Save $41: The flieger (or pilot’s watch) of WWII origins is a classic horological design, and it remains popular today. Laco, established in 1925, was one of the original manufacturers selected by the German government to produce flieger watches for pilots during the War, and they’re still producing the classic design today, designing and assembling them in Pforzeim, Germany.
Huckberry currently carries three models of Laco flieger watch, two of which, the Augsburg 42 and the Aachen 42, are currently on sale for $369, a $41 savings off the list price of $410. Both feature 42mm matte-finished stainless steel cases with 50m of water resistance, 20mm lug widths, Miyota 821 A automatic movements, scratch and impact-resistant sapphire crystals, transparent case backs, oversized knurled crowns, riveted calf leather straps and lume-filled dials and sword hands.
The differences between the two models is largely in the dials: the Augsburg 42 is an “A-type” dial, which includes a lumed minute track with larger hash marks at the hours, plus Arabic numerals and a triangle with two dots at the 12 o’clock position. The Aachen features a “B-type” dial, which has a minute track with larger hash marks at the hours, but rather than Arabic numerals corresponding to each hour, instead has numerals ascending in 5-minute intervals, plus an inner 12-hour track. — Oren Hartov
Faherty Button-up Shirts Save 49%:When Mike Faherty started his namesake clothing brand a little over five years ago, his focus was on fabric. After spending nearly seven years at Ralph Lauren, Faherty was well-versed in both the process of making great garments and the importance of telling a story through materials. His own brand — cofounded with his brother — was rooted in the East Coast beach lifestyle, so the fabrics he designed for shirts reflected that. They had a great worn-in handfeel and a sun-kissed color. “When you saw our stuff, it was always going to have that little patina on it, whatever the fabrication may be,” Faherty told us in 2017.
The brand’s shirts are deceptively simple. On the rack, they look like basic plaid button-ups, but once you put them on, they immediately reveal the thought and effort behind the fabric. They’re substantial but soft, like a favorite shirt you’ve worn and washed for years.
If you’re in the market for a new button-up shirt, head over to Nordstorm Rack now. You can currently save 49 percent on button-up shirts from Faherty. Featuring a range of custom-developed fabrics and timeless designs, they’re well worth the price. — John Zientek

Hunter Rain Boots Save 20%:With unpredictable fall weather in the forecast, you’d be well-advised to pick up a pair of waterproof boots if you haven’t done so already. While there are many options on the market, few have the cachet of UK-based Hunter, which has been making functional rubber boots for over 150 years. Founded in 1856 as the North British Rubber Company, Hunter was the go-to for foul-weather footwear for British soldiers during the World Wars and became a civilian staple in the post-war decades. Now at East Dane, you can pick from a range of waterproof boots from the brand for 20 percent off. The styles feature gusseted welting, quick-dry lining, padded insoles and grippy outsoles. The Orient Bambino Save $190: The Orient Bambino is a stalwart low-cost favorite amongst many watch enthusiasts for pairing an automatic, hacking and hand winding-capable movement with a clean, vintage-inspired design. You also get a domed dial and crystal, and a date at 3 o’clock, all at a relatively low price.
How low? Well, normally, the watch retails for around $300, but you can usually find the Bambino for sale online at a decent price cut. Huckberry, for instance, has 14 different versions of the Bambino on sale for between $110 and $125, including the 40.5mm Versions 1-3 and the 42mm version 4. — Oren Hartov

If you don’t already have some, head over to Nordstrom Rack and pick up the Wolverine Eckins boots. This Chelsea boot style features a brown leather upper, a heel pull-tab and a rubber lug sole. The North Face Ventrix Jacket Save $76: Last year, when The North Face revealed Ventrix, its first take on active insulation, we were skeptical. Active insulation, a form of synthetic insulation that’s meant to be worn during activity and is highly breathable, isn’t new — if anything, The North Face was quite late to the game. But Ventrix is different; its fluffy structure is perforated with tiny holes that close and expand as the body moves, allowing for dynamic temperature regulation.
It’s an awesome concept, but again, when we first heard about it, we weren’t sold. But then we tried Ventrix — on hikes and ski tours and just around town — and it worked. It worked really well actually, so we included it on our list of Best Synthetic Down Jackets of 2018. We continue to stand by that choice even more so now that The North Face has expanded the scope of Ventrix into a variety of jackets (and a pair of wild-looking shorts) for 2019.
It’s still the most innovative iteration of active insulation we’ve seen, and right now you can even snag the original jacket in last season’s colors for $76 off. — Tanner Bowden
Kershaw Leek Pocket Knife Save 54%: Kershaw’s Leek pocket knife is unremarkable at first glance. It’s slim, with a three-inch, drop-point blade and a thumb stud for opening, like many everyday task-oriented blades. But not all knives are flash and flourish, and the unsuspecting Leek is innovative, iconic even, for the mechanism inside of it.
That small bit of machinery is called SpeedSafe, and it was developed by Ken Onion, a former US Marine and an industry-renowned knife designer who has created more than 30 patents for blade technologies. SpeedSafe was his remedy for restrictive laws against switchblades; it’s a fast and smooth mechanism that springs to life partway through the action of opening the blade (think of it as semi-automatic). If this sounds familiar, that’s because even though Onion designed the tech for Kershaw, many other companies have since adopted similar variations.
The Leek is great because it’s so simple, and if you’re in need of a solidly-reliable pocket knife for everyday use it’s a good option. Right now you can get a Leek with carbon fiber handles for 54 percent off at Massdrop. — Tanner Bowden
Rev’It Millburn Jacket Save 42%: There are those who choose to winterize their motorcycles and store them until Spring, which is perfectly normal and fine. Then there are those of us who can’t go that long without riding, layer up and soldier through the colder months. When the latter is the case, getting the right gear is mandatory, but sacrificing style doesn’t have to be. The Rev’It Millburn Jacket is a subtle call back to military-style jackets of old and it’s also entirely ready for some of the worst winter has to throw at you.
The outer shell is a polyester and cotton twill with a Hydratex G-liner for waterproofing and a thermal liner to help keep you extra toasty. You also get decent on-road protection with Seesmart CE-level 1 armor at shoulders and elbows. It’s another stylish motorcycle from Rev’It that packs legitimate impact protection, and today it’s 42% off. — Bryan Campbell
Monoprice Strata Home Save $27 The Strata Home doesn’t boast the absolute precision and speed-heating of Anova’s option, or the app control of the Joule, but it is more than half the cost of either right now. The Strata Home, which usually retails around $70, is $43 on Monoprice’s site — that’s $20 cheaper than it is on Amazon. Pro tip: you can use ordinary ziplock bags, you don’t actually need a vacuum sealer.

Now at East Dane, you can save 30 percent on the perfect sweatshirts for holiday lounging from Levi’s Made and Crafted. Available in both crew neck and hoodie and zip-up styles, they’re sure to keep you comfy this season, no matter the state of family celebrations. — John Zientek
