Blanc Creatives Skillet

The carbon steel skillets that made its name are machine-punched then worked into shape via hammer and anvil, and they typically come at a premium. Save up to 54%: You might not know it, but SeaVees is a sneaker OG. It’s been around since 1964 when it was created by the tire company BF Goodrich, which was looking for something productive to do with all of its excess rubber. PF Flyers was another shoe brand in its portfolio, as was Jack Purcell (now owned by Converse). All specialized in vulcanized rubber soles, but unlike those companies, SeaVees remained relatively in the background until Steven Tiller and Derek Galkin stumbled across a vintage pair in a Tokyo storefront in the early 2000s, and decided to revive it.

Mystery Ranch Street Zen Backpack
Save 16%: Mystery Ranch backpacks have a reputation. Hikers and hunters trust them for expeditions into deep wilderness; wildfire fighters carry them into roaring flames, members of the armed forces bring them into battle. To say that they’re “rugged” would be an understatement. Knife Sharpeners
Save 50%: Chef’s Choice knife sharpeners are widely considered the best electric sharpeners a non-absurd amount of money can buy, particularly by folks who took the time to test out the competition (namely, Cook’s Illustrated and Wirecutter). The two most-recommended options — the electric Trizon XV and the manual, affordable ProntoPro — are both deeply discounted on Amazon today.
The gulf between the two prices stems from the inherent ease of use in the electric model (though the manual is probably the easiest-to-master manual sharpener out there) and the enhances precision the electric provides; precision that, per Wirecutter’s review, “brings the metal of the blade to an infinitesimally fine point rather than to the relatively coarse edge that [the manual version] produces.”

Save 45%: The StretchDown DS uses an array of welds to create the channels that hold its 800-fill down insulation in place. The advantages of this are twofold; baffle stitching is a recurring culprit for durability issues, and the new welds do exactly what they’re supposed to do — they stretch. I purposefully tried to flex the jacket to its limits, Hulk-style, and never actually reached them. That alone makes the StretchDown a great option for active use. (It also gives the jacket a unique visual appeal.) Best of all, you can pick one up for a fraction of its full retail cost just in time for fall over at Mountain Steals. There are currently a host of sizes and colors available.

Save 50%: It’s no secret we’re fans of Dainese’s classic line of jackets, and the Dainese Nera72 Perforated Leather Jacket is chief among them.
