SeaVees Sneakers and Slip Ons
Save up to 54%: You might not know it, but SeaVees is a sneaker OG. It’s been around since 1964 when it was created by the tire company BF Goodrich, which was looking for something productive to do with all of its excess rubber. PF Flyers was another shoe brand in its portfolio, as was Jack Purcell (now owned by Converse). All specialized in vulcanized rubber soles, but unlike those companies, SeaVees remained relatively in the background until Steven Tiller and Derek Galkin stumbled across a vintage pair in a Tokyo storefront in the early 2000s, and decided to revive it.
Now SeaVees is back, embracing the nostalgia of its heritage with remakes of early styles like the 06/64 Legend Sneaker. All of its silhouettes are designed with comfort — and an explicit take on the California ethos — in mind. Right now, many of its styles are on sale at Huckberry for as much as 54 percent off. — Tanner Bowden
