Dyson-V7-Gear-Patrol-Lead-FullDyson

Dyson V7 Car+Boat
Save $50: In the wake of Dyson’s latest and greatest, the V10, a cordless power monster that spells the end of Dyson’s foray into corded uprights, you may wonder what the point of a small handheld is — especially if it lacks a longer stick for day-to-day cleaning.

No matter how you spin it, though, the V7 Car+Boat is an excellent vacuum. It’s lightweight, perfect for quick jobs and well worth the money… just not at full price. Today, Dyson’s selling the V7 for $190. That’s $50 off retail and the lowest price ever for the brand’s most powerful handheld to date. — Jack Seemer

Dainese-Jackets-Gear-Patrol-Lead-FullDainese

Dainese HF D1 Perforated Leather Jacket
Save Up to $200: It’s hard to tell whether we’re in the middle of a hellishly long heatwave or if this is just how hot summers are going to be from now on. Either way, you’ll still need protection when you go out for a ride and if you’re not a fan of the tactical textile look, leather the next logical option. Except, in this type of heat, leather is torturous unless you’re trying to shed a few pounds of water weight before you get to your point B. There’s a way around looking like you just jumped in a pool of your own sweat and still hold on to some vintage style in the process — perforation. — Bryan Campbell

Soma-Filter-Gear-Patrol-Lead-FullSoma

Soma 6-Cup Water Filter & Carafe
Save 40%:No matter how “good” you think your tap water is, chances are it could be a lot better. And you could buy cases of bottled water, sure, and feel good about recycling all that plastic. But why would you want to schlep heavy cases of H2O up the stairs every week when you’ve got a damn faucet — which literally only exists for giving you water — right in front of you?

In case you haven’t heard of Soma yet, it’s the answer to your tap water woes. The simple water filtration system is ubiquitous in millennial homes everywhere because it’s simple and very good at what it does. And, in at least my opinion, it’s worth every cent of its $50 MSRP. But thanks to a special deal from our friends at Sierra Trading Post, this little beauty drops to $30 (and into your shopping cart) faster than you can say “I’m thirsty.”

That’s 40% off the list price, and at least 40% more clean, taste-free tap water that you can gulp down during this hellish heat wave. — Andy Frakes

Orient-Sentinel-Deal-gear-patrol-lead-fullOrient

Orient Sentinel
Save $220: The Bambino gets all the attention when it comes to Orient’s handsome, accessibly-priced automatics, but the Sentinel is a bit of a sleeper in the lineup. The Sentinel has less of an emphasis on retro style and attempts to blur the line between sporty and dressy, and the result is a watch you can wear for all occasions. Coming in at 40.5mm in diameter and 11.5mm thick, it’s relatively compact for such an accessibly-priced automatic, and with a 50-meter water-resistance rating it won’t mind getting a little wet, either. Right now, Massdrop is offering the watch for $95, both in black and blue dial colors. That’s a massive drop from the watch’s $315 MSRP, though, more realistically, the watch consistently sells elsewhere online for around $130. Still, that makes it a temptingly cheap buy. — Andrew Connor

RX-Bars-Gear-Patrol-Lead-FullRX

RX Bar Sale
Save 15%: RX Bars are genuinely some of the tastiest and good-for-you bars around. We’re pretty obsessed with the Nut Butters but will always go back to our roots and house a protein bar. Depending on who you ask, the peanut butter or chocolate sea salt are top picks, but I stockpile the blueberry and mixed berry in my office drawers. No matter your taste preference, each bar has clean and simple ingredients with an easy-to-read label, unlike many other bars we’ve tried. Protein is the focus in each bar, and there’s no gluten, dairy, soy or preservatives. Order a variety pack of 24-bars from Amazon today and save an additional 15 percent on the total price. And you can try all the flavors: chocolate sea salt, blueberry, peanut butter, mixed berry and peanut butter chocolate.

Patagonia-Synchilla-Snap-T-gear-patrol-lead-fullPatagonia

Patagonia Lightweight Synchilla Snap-T Pullover
Save $56: Patagonia practically invented the fleece — oh wait, it did invent the fleece, back in 1981 through a collaboration with materials manufacturer Malden Mills, now known as Polartec. That’s 37 years of fleece knowledge and experience, so it makes sense that Patagonia’s Synchilla has become an icon beyond the community of climbers and campers who embraced it in the first place. They favored it for its lightness and its ability to provide warmth, even when wet. These things, along with comfort and a particularly casual outdoorsy style, have helped the fleece establish itself firmly in the mainstream.

Patagonia’s fleece hasn’t’ changed all that much since the original beyond some tweaks for additional durability and increased sourcing of recycled material — it’s as great as it always has been. Right now at Mountain Steals the Lightweight Synchilla Snap-T Pullover can be had for 46% off its typical price, bringing it from $119 down to $63, just in time for the cooler temperatures of fall. — Tanner Bowden

Frye-Duffle-Bags-gear-patrol-lead-fullFrye

Frye Leather Travel Bags
Save 50%: It’s worth spending a little more on well-made luggage. By paying more upfront, you’ll get a bag that’s designed to be used for decades. But now at Nordstrom Rack, you don’t have to spend quite so much and can get half off on leather travel bags from Frye. The Adam Overnight Leather Bag and Dylan Leather Duffle Bag now cost $300 each and are available in a range of different leathers. While $300 isn’t necessarily inexpensive, it’s a fair price to pay for a bag you’ll use the rest of your life. — John Zientek
