In the U.S., Burton’s AK collection is its most technical and high-end line of outerwear. In Japan however, Burton makes an even higher-end, minimally-branded technical collection called AK457. In addition to outerwear, the line also includes technical bags and base layers. The collection is exclusive to Japan, but right now on The House, a selection of the collection is available at a deep discount. Sizes are limited, and in Japan-specific size cuts, but if you’re in the market for some new technical outerwear this winter, you’d be hard-pressed to find something better. And rest assured that you won’t find another person in the lift line wearing it.
