Jabra-Sport-Wireless-Earbuds-gear-patrol-full-leadJabra

Jabra Elite Sport Wireless Headphones
Save 64%: Jabra specializes in sports-focused wireless earphones. The Jabra Elite Sport earphones ($250) are the company’s magnum opus of sorts, with built-in sensors to measure heart-rate and VO2 Max fitness, and providing a voice in your ear that coaches you through your workouts. More importantly, these are Jabra’s only truly wireless earbuds. Originally announced in late 2016, Jabra updated the Jabra Elite Sport earphones this year to double its battery life (each earbud now has a 4.5-hour lifespan). And because they’re still IP67-rated, these earbuds are actually designed to handle a workout. AirPods, on the other hand, are not.

No truly wireless earbuds are cheap and the Jabra Elite Sport earphones are no exception. You can find them on Amazon or Best Buy for $250 (wow), but you can also rest easy knowing that you’re getting the best sport-focused wireless earbuds you can buy. However, if you pounce now you can get these same earbuds for $90 on eBay — that’s 64 percent or $160 off.

Note: These headphones are “manufacturer refurbished,” which can be a red flag for some. If you need some reassurance, it comes with a one-year warranty and a 30-day return policy. — Tucker Bowe

LG-OLED-gear-patrol-full-lead

LG 55-Inch OLED TV
Save $1,501: If you’re up to date on the latest TV technologies, you’ll know that OLED TVs are the nicest TVs you can buy. They produce darker blacks and more vibrant colors than any LCD TV. And yes, this superior picture quality comes at a cost. Most 55- and 65-inch OLEDs by LG — who make the crème de la crème of OLED TVs — cost a couple grand. That doesn’t mean there aren’t deals to be had, however.

The 2017 LG E7 OLED is one of the company’s high-end OLEDs — even nicer than its flagship C7P OLEDs — and a 55-inch model usually goes for $4,500. Right now, you can get a holiday deal on that same TV on Amazon for $2,500 (link here). But if you want a real steal, you can get that same TV for $1,500 on eBay. That’s 66-percent off, a total saving of $3,000, and it puts this 2017 OLED in the same price range as pretty-nice-but-not-OLED TVs. Insanity.

Yes, this TV has been “manufacturer refurbished,” which can be a red flag for some. If you need some reassurance, it comes with a one-year warranty and a 30-day return policy. — Tucker Bowe
