Hot on the heels of introducing a bountiful bevy of new knives for 2025, CRKT appears to be clearing out the warehouse of great products that have come before.
That presents an excellent opportunity to score discounts on knives you have perhaps coveted for years, because the brand isn’t just moving out the dregs.
This premium update to the classic slip joint folding knife boasts a 2.88-inch blade made of Böhler M390 steel and a Fatcarbon Dark Matter handle. The Ken Steigerwalt design opens via a nail nick and weighs just 1.7 ounces.
The brainchild of esteemed custom knife designer Kit Carson, the M16 is CRKT’s most popular series. This particular variant features a 3.87-inch tanto blade made of edge-retaining 12C27 steel, grippy back flipper deployment, a stainless steel handle and a frame lock.
Designed by the legendary Jesper Voxnaes, the Pilar III is currently the top pick in our best pocket knives guide. This particular variant features a 2.97-inch D2 steel blade, G10 with stainless steel handle and a frame lock. Swinging on an IKBS ball bearing pivot, it deploys one-handed via a thumb slot.
Drawing its name, presumably, from the raptor talon-like blade (a 4.1-incher made of D2 steel), the Clever Girl was designed by Iraq veteran Austin McGlaun as part of CRKT’s Forged by War program. Highlights include a back flipper, an IKBS ball bearing pivot, a G10 handle and a Deadbolt lock.
Never bet against a knife designed by a former Green Beret with two purple hearts and six bronze stars to his name, such as Jeremy Valdez. The Septimo boasts a 3.62-inch tanto-shaped blade made of 8Cr13MoV steel with a unique Veff Serration perfect for cutting straps. Deploying via a back flipper, it also features an aluminum with glass-reinforced nylon inlay handle and a liner lock.
Designed by Ed VanHoy, the original Snap Lock easily won the Most Innovative Knife Award at Blade Show 2004. More than two decades later, it continues to mesmerize with deployment that involves pressing down on a cam lever and rotating the blade 180 degrees. This particular variant features a 2.55-inch 420J2 steel blade and a stainless steel handle.
