For every purchase on Black Friday, wardrobe essentials brand Everlane is donating $10 to Oceana’s campaign efforts to end single-use plastic. The brand is hoping to raise $300,000 to help support campaign work in three major voting markets.
In previous years, Everlane’s Black Friday Fund has installed solar panels at a partner factory in China, provided 8,000 helmets to factory workers in Vietnam and cleaned up 20,000 pounds of plastics of beaches around the U.S., among other things. So if you’re making a point to shop today, you can pick up some great items for your closet and help address the global plastic problem.
