Apple started selling the Mophie 3-in-1 wireless charging pad this past summer. It was significant because it was the first 3-in-1 wireless charger that could charge your iPhone, AirPods 2 (with wireless charging case) and Apple Watch, that Apple has ever sold. It basically could do exactly what AirPower, Apple’s failed wireless charger, had promised. Right now, Apple is selling the Mophie 3-in-1 wireless charging pad for $140, but you get the same charging pad (albeit in a premium ultra-suede finish) from Amazon for $104.
It’s a very good deal for anybody who has all three devices: iPhone (8 or newer), AirPods 2 (with wireless charging case) and an Apple Watch.
As for other features, the charging pad is capable of wirelessly charging an iPhone as fast as possible (7.5 watts). There’s a dedicated cavity for your AirPods, making it effortless to charge them (no need to worry if the charging case is perfectly aligned on the charging pad). And the integrated charging stand for Apple Watch is optimized for Nightstand Mode, so the watch will display the date, time and alarm (if you set it) while it’s charging.
