An ultrawide screen can be great for everything from taking in a gigantic spreadsheet, to playing realistic racing games, to looking at far too many windows at once. Now, on Amazon, you can get one of the best ones out there, the 34-inch Dell U3417W, for $510 ($390 off its list price). Released in late 2016, it’s not one of the newest monitors on the market, but it did once hold the second place in the Wirecutter ultrawide monitor roundup, losing out to a more recent model primarily just because Dell was winding down production. So if the absence of a USB-C port doesn’t bother you, the U3427W is still a great deal, especially at this price.
