The Megablast is the biggest and best-sounding portable speaker that Ultimate Ears makes. It’s also its most expensive. When it was released in early 2018, the speaker was selling for $300 but the company has since dropped the price to $250. Today, you can get the Megablast for another $50 off, which is a pretty awesome deal for anybody looking for a loud portable speaker for summer.
The Megblast is a Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enabled speaker, and it works with Alexa voice commands. This means that when using the speaker at home, it can essentially work exactly like an Amazon Echo; You can play jeopardy with Alexa, ask it about the weather or tell it to play a certain song on Spotify. Then when you want to take the Megblast somewhere else, like to the beach or the park, it works exactly like any other portable Bluetooth speaker.
