If you’re in the market for a really nice 55-inch 4K TV, we’ve got good news: almost all of last year’s OLED TVs from LG are on sale at Newegg. Of course, these deals aren’t totally out of left field. It’s that time of year where all TV manufacturers are gearing up to release their new models, so naturally, older models are going to come down. What’s notable, however, is that these models aren’t just on sale — many of them are nearly half off.
OLED TVs are the most beautiful TVs you can buy. Compared to the standard LCD TVs, OLED technology produces darker blacks and way more vivid colors. And LG’s OLED TVs are the crème de la crème. The below models are similar but differ slightly in picture quality — detail, clarity, contrast and color — sound and design of the TVs. All LG’s OLEDs have basically the same features, including built-in Google Assistant and support for the big high dynamic range formats such as Dolby Vision and HDR10.
LG E8
The LG E8 is a higher-end OLED TV that costs $2,500 on the company’s website, but it’s currently selling for $1,399 at Newegg. It has 4.2 channel speaker system with 60-watts of output power.
LG C8
The company’s midrange OLED TV, the LG C8 costs $1,899 on the company’s website but is on sale for $1,199 at Newegg. It has a 2.2 channel speaker system with 40-watts of output power.
