Founded in San Antonio in 1883, Lucchese offers some of the best Western boots on the market. Along with more traditional styles, it offers some modern silhouettes that are appropriate for a range of settings. For example, its Jonah boot blends the heel and toe of a traditional roper boot with a narrow side-zip shaft. The Lucchese site says it’s equestrian-inspired, but apart from the zipper and slim profile, the style doesn’t scream horseman.
