The Seiko 5 line of automatic watches typically offers bargains even at full MSRP, but prices starting at $140 make it that much better a value. This model is dubbed the “Baby Monster” in reference to the popular cult-classic Seiko Monster dive watch, but it’s not at all meant for baby-sized wrists at a significant 44mm wide. Water-resistant to 100m, it should handle underwater activity just fine. A mineral crystal protects the dial, and there is even a display case back to view the Seiko 4R36 hacking and hand-winding movement with 41 hours of power reserve.
Best of all, getting it for about 40% of its original price makes it all the more worry-free to wear. Prices start at $140, with two orange dial versions for $10 or $20 more, and black dial SRPB33J1 still at only $175.
