Released in 2016, Dyson’s V8 vacuum was the British brand’s second go at the cordless vacuum and is still its best value buy. Its suction and battery life are both better than the older V6, and the entire HEPA-certified motor and pre-motor filters are washable (meaning you don’t need to buy new filters). It’s also lighter and has a slightly bigger dustbin.
Dyson’s manufacturer refurb V8 is 51 percent off on eBay today and, according to Dyson, the only difference between a new and refurbished model are aesthetic blemishes on the machine. “Our refurbished machines have been thoroughly tested to meet like-new performance standards. Units may have some cosmetic blemishes that include scratches and/or other surface imperfections, that do not affect functionality,” the brand says.
