It comes with a built-in preamp, so all you need is to pair it with some passive or powered bookshelf speakers. (You’ll need some records too, of course!) It plays quietly, so you don’t need to worry about a loud motor interfering with your tunes. And the LP120 has an old-school look to it, not too dissimilar to the classic Technics SL-1200MK2, which many vinyl enthusiasts will love.
The other convenient thing about the LP120 is that its a USB record player, meaning it can digitize your LPs. This way, in the case that you aren’t near you turntable, you can still listen to the same high-quality audio if you’re on your phone or on your computer.
