Whenever somebody asks me which 4K TV they should buy, with the caveat that they don’t want to spend too much, I always recommend one by either TCL or Vizio. Both boast very good picture quality, easy-to-navigate interfaces, and, depending on the model, they usually support all the latest HDR technologies (like Dolby Vision or HDR10). While I personally own one of Vizio’s M-Series (check here) from last year, you can get a really great price on TCL’s 6-Series, which were released earlier this summer. All of these new models come baked with Roku’s smart interface, Dolby Vision HDR, and 120 contrast control zones – they’re just really good and easy-to-use TVs.
For more context, CNET‘s David Katzmaier wrote that these TVs were “the best picture quality for the money in 2018.” And Phil Nickinson of CordCutters simply stated that the 6-Series was “one of those TVs that you can just buy and use and not worry about any sort of buyer’s remorse. ”
TCL’s 6-Series Roku TV achieves excellent quality at a really reasonable price, but for Cyber Monday you can get one for even less. At Best Buy, you can pick up a 65-inch model for $800, which is $170 off. If that’s too big of a TV for your wall, you can get a 55-inch model for $600 (no discount here, though).
