When talking about premium audio, we love to bring up Naim Audio. The British-based company makes some of our favorite all-in-one speaker systems for a few reasons. Take the Mu-so and Mu-so Qb as examples. They’re beautiful and compact speaker systems with wonderfully large volume dials (great “knob feel”) and they sound fantastic.
Also, both the Mu-so and Mu-so Qb are really adaptable to your life. They support Bluetooth aptX as well as Spotify Connect and Tidal, so you can stream high-res audio tracks directly through those apps. The speaker systems have a number of USB, analog and digital inputs, so you can easily hook them to your smartphone, TVs, CD player or video game console. And they also support AirPlay 2, so you can instantly stream audio from your iPhone or MacBook, or you can set them up in a multi-room system with other speakers that support AirPlay 2.
If you don’t care about HomePod’s Siri integration and smart home control, these two speakers by Naim can be great alternatives. They’re way more versatile, have more personality and, in my opinion, sound better. (It’s worth mentioning that the HomePod still sounds fantastic and boasts room optimizing tech so it naturally sounds best for the room its in.)
The main difference between the Mu-so and Mu-so Qb is size and design, as the latter is essentially just a more compact version of the original Mu-so speaker system. These are pretty expensive speaker systems, too, but for Black Friday you can get a pretty good deal on Amazon.
The Naim Mu-so is $500 off, dropping from $1,499 to $999. And the Naim Mu-so Qb is $300 off, dropping from $999 to $699. Both deals are running on Amazon through Cyber Monday.
