Most people agree that Apple should’ve released the new MacBook Air two years ago, but that’s all forgiven now: the 2018 MacBook Air is here and it’s what everybody wanted. It has a Retina display. It has an upgraded keyboard. And it’s still super thin. Essentially, it’s the laptop that most people should buy.
What is pretty surprising, actually, is that you can already find some pretty good deals on this redesigned MacBook Air even though it was only released a matter of weeks ago. B&H Photo, for example, is discounting two configurations by $100. The base model (8GB RAM, 128G SSD) is normally $1,199, but you can pick it up for $1,099. And the slightly upgraded model (8GB RAM, 256GB SSD), which is probably the one most people should buy considering its extra storage, is normally $1,399, but you can pick it up for $1,299.
