It’s now the time of year where we’re inside most of the time with heat pumping; without a humidifier, we risk drying out. Enter the Dyson AM10 Humidifier ($499 $350). It pulls double duty as both a humidifier and fan, comes in three color options, and looks as futuristic as Dyson’s much-lauded heating and cooling systems. If we’re being honest, however, as cool as this Dyson humidifier is – it’s also overkill. Dyson overengineered the crap out of this thing, designing it to work ultrasonically, meaning its fan is powerful enough to blow out mist through its oval design without you even noticing. The A10 also cleans the air using Dyson’s Ultraviolet Cleanse technology; the company claims it kills 99.9 percent of bacteria before the hydrated air is blown into the room.
As mentioned above, it’s overkill – but we love Dyson for it. And if you’re looking for a good-but-cheap humidifier, there are definitely more affordable options out there, but arguably none of them work as efficiently (or look as badass) as this thing. And now you can actually get a pretty good deal on one. Dyson’s A10 humidifier normally sells for $499, but Amazon has dropped the price by $150 so you can order the Dyson AM10 for $350 now. That’s 30-percent off and it’s actually the lowest price that Amazon has ever offered for new models.
