You may not have heard of Moon Lence, but you wouldn’t be blamed for mistaking its ultralight camp chair for some of the more-popular names found in the aisles of REI. That’s because it’s remarkably similar, and performs just as well as some of the top names in the camp furniture space.
Moon Lence’s chair is made of 1000-denier Oxford cloth and an aluminum alloy frame. It weighs two pounds and is among the lightest and most packable camp chairs available. Its main competitor is Helinox’s similarly-built Chair One, which Outdoor Gear Lab compared it to in a thorough test. The Moon Lence came up slightly short in a couple of areas, but is a whopping $88 cheaper than the Chair One, even at full price.
For Prime Day, the Moon Lence camp chair is even more affordable at $23. Unless you’re going to spring $120 for Helinox’s Chair One, this is a no-brainer camp furniture upgrade.
