Virtually every phone case claims some variation of drop-proof. As anyone who has ever owned and dropped a smartphone in one of these cases knows, this is rarely true. In the case of SUPCASE’s UB Pro cases, however, it actually is.
During CNET’s drop test competition at CES this year, the case was dropped (with an actual iPhone X in it) from 16 feet twice then 20 feet twice, and the phone was undamaged. The case is built out with two layers of shock-resistance — a hard shell polycarbonate and a flexible TPU — and comes with a built-in screen protector.
The UB Pro case for the iPhone X is $12 at checkout. UB Pro cases for other smartphones and tablets are also available and on sale on SUPCASE’s Amazon store page — though they’re not as cheap today.
