Bose’s newest and best-sounding portable Bluetooth speakers, the SoundLink Revolve ($199 $179) and the SoundLink Revolve Plus ($299 $269), were released just over a year ago, in Spring 2017. The new models differ drastically in design and size of Bose’s previous portable Bluetooth speakers, the SoundLink Mini II ($180) and SoundLink III (now discontinued), as they’re the company’s first cylindrical-shaped Bluetooth speakers. Yes, they play true 360-degree sound, just like an Amazon Echo, but they sound way better. They’re also splash-proof (IPX4), which the Echo is not. The difference between the Revolve and Revolve Plus is the latter is bigger, more powerful and more expensive; it also comes with a handle.
On Amazon right now, both speakers are on sale.
