You already know that the thermoses and mugs produced by Stanley are high quality, but did you know that Stanley — as in William Stanley Jr. — invented the vacuum bottle in 1913? (He also patented an early version of the electric transformer and used it to light up Main Street in a small Massachusetts town.) That gives Stanley over 100 years of bottle-making experience, and it means there’s a good chance that a Stanley product has been passed down through some of the branches of your family tree — because Stanley bottles are super durable. I’ve had my 16-ounce Vacuum Mug for half a decade now, and the thing barely has a scratch on it, despite my less-than-coddling treatment of it.
Stanley recently doubled-down on that heritage of strength in introducing its Master Series. This new collection of mugs uses stainless steel that’s at least 50-percent thicker than similar vacuum mugs and Stanley’s Quadvac insulation, which keeps drinks warmth for up to 40 hours. They’re Stanley’s most resilient, heat-retaining mugs yet. Right now at Huckberry, you can save 20 percent on Master Series thermoses, mugs and flasks as well as some solid pieces from past collections.
