Breville’s been responsible for many innovations over the years, the least of which includes kitchen-friendly espresso machines. The Australian company, known for its ethos of affordable luxury, launched the 800 Series Class Espresso Machine in 2003. Two years later, espresso machines were outselling drip coffee machines in Australia. Most recently, Breville launched the Oracle Touch ($2,500) — perhaps the most advanced home espresso machine ever made. Suffice to say: If you’re looking to upgrade your home coffee set-up, Breville’s a good place to start.
Today, one of the brand’s more affordable models, the Barista Express, is on sale from the top-rated eBay seller electroniccityinc for $460. Bed Bath & Beyond sells the same machine for $600. The machine features a steel conical burr grinder, PID regulated temperature control and swivel mounted steam wand.
