Making great coffee requires a good brewer and quality beans. But also contingent is having them freshly ground. While many burr grinders cost hundreds (and rightfully so), there are still decent grinders in the sub-$100 range. Cuisinart’s DBM-8AMZ Supreme Grind is a great example, featuring 18 coarseness settings and automatic grinding (there’s no deadman’s switch like on other burr grinders). It can grind enough beans for up to 18 cups of coffee at a time and its grind chamber holds 32 cups so it’s ideal for making gratuitous batches of coffee in one go. While there are undoubtedly higher-end options out there, if you’re merely looking to upgrade your coffee game on a budget you could certainly do worse than the DBM-8AMZ, given Amazon is currently taking off a solid 58% on the already affordable grinder.
