It’s only been about a month since they were released — and that’s when we got hands-on and reviewed them — but Sony’s LinkBuds S have already made a pretty big impact on the brand’s lineup of headphones and earbuds. Slotting in-between the entry-level option and the high-end flagship model, these earbuds have been lauded for their relatively approachable price point and satisfyingly comprehensive array of features and tech. And, wouldn’t you know it, they just got even more affordable.

Offered with their first significant discount since their launch, the LinkBuds S are currently on sale for just $158 (21 percent below their $200 MSRP). For those keeping track, that’s the exact same price as the lower-end, entry-level LinkBuds — meaning you’re getting a much higher-end set of ‘phones for the same price. And yes, you still get all the things that make them so great, including IPX4 water resistance, up to 20 hours of battery life (with the charging case), multiple noise-canceling modes, an integrated V1 processor and even smart features that “learn from your behavior and automatically adjust sound settings to provide the right sound for the moment.”
Seeing as how this is the first time these particular earbuds have been offered with such a big discount, there’s no telling if they’ll stay in stock at this price or for how long the sale will run (spoiler: it’ll probably be over after today, when Prime Day ends).
