Grant Stone is a brand steeped in traditional, material-forward boot-making. Fueled by a “no-compromise mentality,” the team unites an extraordinary mix of leather, brass and cork in its coveted Black Chromexcel Brass Boot. Fans of the boot have come to see it as an all-occasion go-to shoe, but its construction was engineered with heavy-duty, year-round wear in mind. The boot is made on the Floyd last to create a snug heel fit and high walls for a full-fitting toe box. This design, coupled with the shoes’ hardy lug soles, made with a medium-density compound that offers both greater traction and durability, ensures your feet stay protected in harsh weather and comfortable in all seasons.
The boots’ namesake Horween tanned Chromexcel leather is used to create a strong upper across the body of the shoe. Additionally, the boots also harness a mix of full-grain leather heel counters and full-grain leather cow linings from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for added support and stability. Strong vegetable-tanned leather insoles, welts and midsoles prepare the boots for years of wear and resoling. Finally, the contrast moc stitch is hand-sewn onto a smooth, one-piece vamp to further accentuate the toe profile.
