As much as you can make a case for 4×4 ownership because of a vehicle’s all-terrain capabilities, let’s be honest — a lot of the appeal comes down to the potential for customization. Be it a Bronco, a Jeep or a Land Cruiser, today’s off-roaders are incredibly competent from the factory.

If you want to stand out from the crowd, it’s really the addition of a rack, some lights and any number of overlanding-worthy accessories that takes a rig over the top.

With this in mind, Stellantis just announced a massive expansion of its Mopar parts catalog that promises to make building your dream Jeep off-roader (or a Ram 1500) easier than ever.

One-stop customization

Stellantis has operated the Mopar brand as an in-house parts supplier for some time, catering its offerings to vehicles across the Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram lineups.

However, as part of the new Mopar Affiliated Accessories program, Stellantis will be adding more than 1,000 different accessories to the Mopar catalog — from more than 40 aftermarket supplier partners.

Beyond giving prospective customers plenty of choices, this also means that you’ll be able to order parts online through the Mopar eStore or at your local dealership. In other words, it’s intended to provide a seamless one-stop shop and sales experience.

Whether you’re in the market for a new vehicle or upgrading one that you already own, Mopar aims to make the process as smooth as possible.

Accordingly, the brand has even conducted ‘expert reviews’ on all the available Mopar Affiliated Accessories, checking for proper fitment to ensure that installation goes off without a hitch (no pun intended).

At this stage, the catalog includes some big names in the accessories space, especially if you’re a fan of breaking away from the beaten path. Along with well-known lighting manufacturers like Baja Designs, you’ll also find roof racks from Kuat, HitchFire grilles, Dometic coolers, some Napier tents and Cascadia solar panels.

The selection encompasses everything from speaker upgrades to lift kits, and there are even stickers, wraps and other visual options to change the look of your vehicle.

Here’s the kicker: Stellantis has said that this is only just the beginning, and that Mopar will be expanding the range of Mopar Affiliated Accessories to include options from even more partners.
