The Palisade is Hyundai’s flagship three-row midsize SUV. It aims to be luxurious where its cousin, the Kia Telluride, is adventurous, and it has been a strong seller for Hyundai since debuting for the 2020 model year.
Now, the Palisade just received a swanky new mid-cycle refresh — but the new second-generation model should be just around the corner, and it should bring some significant changes. Here’s what we know so far about the second-generation Hyundai Palisade.
The Palisade should get a bold visual redesign

Hyundai radically redesigned the Santa Fe exterior, giving it a boxier quasi-Range Rover-like look. Hyundai vice president of product planning Olabisi Boyle told CarBuzz to expect a similar metamorphosis with the new Palisade, promising it would take what buyers like to “the next level.”
The Palisade will still be a three-row SUV, perhaps with a longer wheelbase than the current model. It will still be larger than the Santa Fe. But we can expect its new look to be bold, even if it doesn’t exactly ape the Santa Fe’s new design.
