Toyota’s Camry midsize sedan may be the vanilla ice cream of cars. But hey, a lot of people like vanilla. And a lot of people like Camrys, too: this Toyota is America’s best-selling non-truck or SUV by a wide margin. And one could, like vanilla ice cream, argue the Camry is underrated, with a surprising depth of flavor.
It is, however, growing old; the current generation debuted back in 2017. As a result, the Camry is due for an imminent overhaul. Here’s what we know about the upcoming 2025 Toyota Camry.

The Camry will offer an all-wheel-drive hybrid version

Toyota released a teaser image of the new Camry that shows all-wheel-drive and hybrid badges on the same car. The current-gen Camry offers both AWD and hybrid models but not together. Having all-wheel-drive and a hybrid together would give the Camry a big leg up over the rival Honda Accord.
The teaser also notes that the car “raises to new heights with no compromises.” That suggests that the Camry may take a cue from the Crown and offer a higher ride height.
