The brand’s next vehicle — and one that it expects to be transformative, sales-wise — is the Polestar 3 SUV which goes on sale this year.

What is the Polestar 3?
The Polestar 3 is a two-row, midsize luxury crossover. It’s built on Volvo’s new SPA2 (Scalable Product Architecture) platform, which it shares with the Volvo EX90.

How much power does the Polestar 3 have?
The base Polestar 3 Long Range Dual Motor has 489 horsepower and 620 lb-ft of torque and can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 5.0 seconds. With the Performance Pack, that gets bumped up to 517 horsepower and 671 lb-ft of torque. With it, the Polestar 3 can then accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.7 seconds.
How much range does the Polestar 3 have?
The Polestar 3 Long Range Dual Motor has an estimated EPA range of 315 miles. That drops to 279 miles when the car is fitted with the performance pack. The Polestar 3 has a 111-kWh battery pack and is capable of 250-kW DC fast charging.
