The new BMW M3 and M4 are, suffice it to say, likely a bit more controversial than the Bavarian Motor Works likely would prefer. On the one hand, they check the enthusiast spec boxes: available manual gearbox, choice of rear- or all-wheel-drive, and all the performance technology that German engineers with a nigh-on bottomless checkbook can come up with.
On the other hand…there’s that face.
Clearly, however, the new M3 and M4 front end wasn’t shocking enough to put off Ronnie Fieg. The founder of New York-based lifestyle brand Kith is a longtime BMW aficionado; his grandfather owned and cherished an E30-generation M3, and gave Kith rides in it during his formative years.
No doubt in part because of all those fond memories, Kith and BMW are teaming up. The former is offering a array of collaboration apparel — 94 pieces of automotive-inspired clothing and accessories, including a $475 velour track suit — but it’s the latter’s contribution to the team-up that’s the subject of this post: the limited-edition M4 you see below.

The Kith M4 is a BMW M4 Competition — the 503-hp version that only comes with an eight-speed automatic. (Sorry, stick shift fans.) The Kith Bimmer also features AWD, which becomes available on the M4 for the 2022 model year.
