In case you hadn’t heard, famed (if divisive) NFL quarterback Tom Brady is making a major life change this off-season: he’s selling his Cadillac Escalade.
And it’s not just any Escalade. Brady’s Caddy is a stretched, super-custom Escalade ESV from Becker Automotive Design. It’s essentially a private jet on wheels…and just a bit fancier than Frank Sinatra’s Chrysler LeBaron.
For starters, Becker performed custom bodywork on Brady’s luxury rig. Because the Escalade ESV was not long enough, the body has been extended by 20 inches. Lest you think that would look weird, Brady had an additional 10 inches added to the rear door length, to keep the SUV looking proportional. The Escalade also has a five-inch-raised single-stamped steel roof — perfect for accommodating your Stetson hat.
Interior mods include a pair of six-way reclining VIP seats with electric footrests, perfect for kicking back in a pair of Ugg slippers. Those rear passengers also can gaze upon a 32-inch HD LCD screen, or rest their TB12 supplements on folding tables that are hand-veneered in a burlwood finish. The Escalade also has what Becker describes as a “high-end mobile internet router” that can accommodate multiple providers for an optimal connection at all times.
The six-time Super Bowl champion quarterback offered the following testimonial in the listing: “Parting ways with my Becker ESV won’t be easy. From day one, it became my sanctuary from the outside noise. I took pride in picking out all the customizations of the ESV, from the trim of the seats to the color of the rug. With such limited time in my busy schedule, the ESV gave me those extra minutes to study my play book, make phone calls and be with my family. Immediately my productivity went up, and my stress came down. I hope the next owner will take great care of her; she will always be a part of the Brady family.”
Brady put about 13,000 miles on his Becker ESV since buying it in 2017. It can be yours for the low, low price of $300,000 — a bit less than a Tom Brady Signature Edition Aston Maritn Vanquish S Volante. Perhaps Sir Thomas will be upgrading to the next-generation Escalade?
