This Crazy Ford Raptor Van Is the Off-Roader You Didn’t Know You Needed

The craziest Ford tuner out there is not from the country you’d expect.

When you think about crazy Ford tuners, you’d probably imagine that they’d be located in the U.S., or maybe Great Britain. But Russia apparently has its Blue Oval enthusiasts too — and one of them just blew our minds with its latest build. Ford-Market, a tuner from St. Petersburg, has built the #RaptorBus, the badass off-roading 6×6 van you didn’t know you needed.

The Raptor Bus is an old third-generation Ford Econoline van restored to newfound glory. It has received a massive suspension lift and a six-wheel-drive conversion. The Raptor part comes from the Raptor-style grille and headlights, as well as the wide fender flares.

Admittedly, that’s about all the details we have about this beast so far. There’s no mention as to whether the Raptor Bus also received the Raptor’s 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 that puts out 450 hp as part of the conversion (or, perhaps, the 7.3-liter “Godzilla” V8 it deserves). Other significant gaps in our knowledge include what its capabilities truly are, as well as anything about the entire interior of the vehicle.

Sure, Raptor Bus won’t be to everyone’s taste — but if you’re one of those folks, perhaps Ford-Market could interest you in a Ford Focus monster truck or a Ford Focus cabriolet? Alternately, if you like the idea of a super-capable and overlanding-ready Ford E-Series van but don’t need the over-the-top 6×6 conversion, you could consider having Sportsmobile build you one.
