The new 2020 Land Rover Defender is one of the biggest car launches left on the calendar for 2019. We have seen the new SUV traveling the world under camouflage. We have seen it unmasked on the new James Bond movie set. Now, we have a firm date and time for the official launch.
Land Rover will debut the new SUV on Tuesday, September 10th at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The company will stream the event live on its Facebook and YouTube pages.
If you’re planning to watch the reveal event live in the U.S. — this is the first American Defender debut in 25 years, after all — prepare to lose some sleep. Land Rover will kick off the festivities at 10:00 a.m. local time in Frankfurt, which is 4:00 a.m. EDT. Video highlights will be available for the less intrepid who prefer to wake up after Starbucks opens.
The 2020 Defender will arrive for its physical debut in the U.S. at the Los Angeles Auto Show which starts Nov. 22.
