There are many places one would expect to find a Lamborghini Huracan with less than 600 miles on it: Monte Carlo, Dubai, the local police impound lot. On sale at a Hyundai dealership in Wentzville, Missouri would not be among your first thousand (or hundred thousand) guesses. But, Hyundai of Wentzville currently has a used 531-mile 2019 Lamborghini Huracan LP580-2 convertible on offer.
How did this incongruence occur? You may picture some crazy trade-in story. Bitcoin took a nosedive? Perhaps a crown prince arrived at college to find out his dorm only had parallel street parking? Maybe a zany get-rich-quick scheme involving a fleet of Hyundai Elantras for rent on Turo? Alas, it was none of those things.
The Drive inquired at the dealership. Per a sales representative, the dealership’s owner bought the Huracan. He then decided, rather quickly it appears, to sell it through the dealership for publicity instead of on Bring a Trailer or some more customary outlet.
The Lamborghini Huracan is still for sale for a “no-hassle” $226,217 or $2,748 per month on 72-month financing if you have $45,343 kicking around to use as a down payment. Sadly, Redditors asked the dealership, and the advertised 30-year, 300,000-mile warranty, which would be a pretty fantastic deal, is not available for imports.
