These 4 Cars Were Named the Best In the World This Year

Every year around Easter, the New York International Auto Show sweeps into Manhattan — and with it come the annual World Car Awards. The WCA jury is made up of over 80 automotive journalists and industry professionals from more two dozen countries, who come together to decide the absolute best cars across six different categories.

At the 2019 World Car Awards, however, only four cars took home awards. That’s because the 2019 Jaguar I-Pace not only swept up the Green Car and Design of the Year Awards, it also took home the big one: World Car of The Year. The other winners include the Audi A7, Suzuki Jimny 4×4 and McLaren 720S.

World Car of The Year/ Green Car of the Year/ Design of the Year

Jaguar

World Luxury Car

2019 Audi A7 “An even more elegant upgrade, though, sits at the corners, with the headlights and taillights, which in the upper trims – namely the Prestige – perform brisk little light shows each time you lock and unlock the vehicle.
