America now hosts three Formula 1 races. But the official United States Grand Prix still takes place at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin. This year’s race takes place over the weekend from October 20-22. If you’ve been looking to score a ticket, you can find one in a surprising place. F1 is selling tickets to the United States Grand Prix at Costco.

Costco offers a three-day General Admission grounds pass, which gets you into the race, qualifying and all the practice sessions, for $349.99. The passes also get you admission to the Friday (The Killers) and Saturday (Queen and Adam Lambert) night concerts.

A purchase — limited to five per Costco member — provides an eVoucher that can be redeemed through an emailed link. The eVouchers are not for resale and the purchase is non-refundable. The wristbands will be available for pickup at the venue.

Costco’s F1 ticket offer is a relatively good deal. It’s $125 cheaper than the going rate on the Circuit of the Americas website. And equivalent packages for the Miami and Las Vegas Grand Prix both retailed for north of $500.

Remember that General Admission means you don’t have an assigned grandstand seat. That does mean you’re free to explore the views from COTA at different parts of the track. But it also means you’re exposed to weather or sun, which can still get pretty intense during the day in October in Texas.

Having attended an F1 race at Circuit of the Americas, we can offer a few tips. Stay hydrated with more than just $10 beers. There’s also a traffic bottleneck leaving the venue. We’d park close to the exit if possible. And while you are close to the Austin airport, making that tempting evening flight will be touch-and-go unless you leave before the end of the race (though Max Verstappen could already be a pitstop ahead well before the end).
