It looks like the Ram Rebel TRX Concept is coming to life and get power from the now legendary 707 horsepower supercharged Hellcat V8 engine.

According to 5thGenRams and its sources, the upcoming Ram Rebel is out for blood and the Ford Raptor is directly in its sights. While Ford downsized the newer Raptor from a V8 down to a turbo V6, Dodge is going the other way and giving its off-road dirt-devouring super trucks big naturally aspirated V8s.

As per the sources, there will be two models; the TR and TRX. The TR will get a 7.0-liter V8 good for 520 horsepower and around 525 lb-ft of torque. The TRX is bestowed with the supercharged 6.2-liter V8 Hellcat engine which is famous for its 707 horsepower output. Beyond that, not much else is known, other than an expected arrival date sometime in 2021. If it looks anything like the TRX concept from 2016, 2021 can’t come soon enough.
