Ferrari, Lamborghini and Alfa Romeo get most of the glory when it comes to great, classic sports cars. Lancia, on the other hand, flies well below the radar. Which is understandable. Lancia wasn’t known for non-stop success but when they did make a great car, it was an instant classic.

It may be a front-wheel-drive but the Fulvia was tuned and balanced to a level that helped it keep up with the athletic rear-wheel-drive BMW 2002 and Datsun 1200.
