The Most Insane Jeep Wrangler Money Can Buy

It’s packing a lot more than just a lift kit and a matte black paint job.

Over at duPont Registry there’s a $255,000 Jeep Wrangler for sale. But before you scoff at the price, know that if this thing pulled up to this year’s King of the Hammers starting line, it would have good odds of winning the race outright. This jeep isn’t just toting a simple lift kit and a matte black paint job — the list of custom parts and performance upgrades is longer than a four-item receipt from CVS.

Project Rattletrap is a ground-up custom Wrangler that took Martin Barkey Racing Products nearly a year and a half to complete. The eye-watering parts list that comes with it is headlined by the twin-turbo 5.9-liter 12-valve Cummins engine that sits up front and the 44 × 19.5 Pit Bull Rocker Tires. Power is estimated at 500+ Horsepower with 1,000+ lb-ft of torque. Which means if there’s a boulder this thing can’t get over, it has enough torque to winch it out of the way. It’s supercar power for a supercar price — in an off-roader.
