Starting today, the New York International Auto Show (NYIAS) is open to the public. Visitors can ogle the latest cars from big manufacturers that will be going on sale within the next year or so. This year New York’s biggest reveals have, for the most part, been a lot of refreshed cars and a slew of new eco-friendly machines — somewhat mundane, but nevertheless important. However, it was the older and rarer stuff on display that truly got our hearts pounding — treats that our favorite automakers know we want to see (and that sometimes overshadow their latest reveals). If you happen to be in the New York area we highly recommend getting tickets and checking everything out before the show wraps up on April 3rd.
Every Generation of the Nissan Skyline GT-R

To celebrate Nissan’s “new” GT-R, they brought a handful of old ones. Every generation, from the original Skyline 2000GT-R from 1969 to the refreshed 2017 model is on display. It’s fantastic, unless you’re sensitive to the fact you won’t be able to import an R34 GT-R until 2024.
