The phrase “imitation is the sincerest form of flattery” can only go so far. Though the company Onewheel wasn’t presenting at CES, employees in attendance took notice of a Chinese company displaying a product that was a blatant ripoff of Onewheel’s patented one-wheel skateboard. US Marshals served a court order, confiscating the products and taking down the stand of the offending company.

A Mirrorless BMW

With the advancements in optics, cameras and displays, it was only a matter of time before car manufacturers started to use them for more than just backup cameras. BMW presented a mirrorless i8 at CES, using HD cameras and displays instead of rearview and side mirrors. The only catch is the NHTSA requires all cars to have rearview mirrors by law.
