Bringing Back Ford’s Greatest Trucks

A tentative agreement between the United Auto Workers (UAW) and Ford includes a commitment to bring back the Ford Ranger and Bronco to the US, with vehicles to be constructed in the Detroit area. The contract has been approved by UAW leaders and is awaiting voter approval from the union’s 52,900 Ford employees.

Kicking $42,000 Tires

A new exotic car dealership has opened at 51st Street and 11th Avenue in Manhattan, selling Volkswagen’s top brands: Bentley, Porsche, Lamborghini and even Bugatti. Offerings from other exotic brands like Koenigsegg and Lotus will be on sale as well.

A 34 Horsepower BMW

BMW Motorrad has unveiled the new GS310R, its new entry-level offering aimed to fight other bikes geared towards emerging sport riders like the KTM Duke 390 and Honda CB300F. The bike makes 34 horsepower and 21 lb-ft of torque via a liquid-cooled, 313cc single-cylinder engine with fuel injection and weighs in at approximately 350 pounds. Pricing has yet to be announced, but prospective buyers can expect the GS310R to arrive in showrooms early next year.

Rosberg Wins Brazil

Nico Rosberg took another pole position and top-podium finish at this weekend’s Brazilian GP. This is his fifth pole in a row (a feat only achieved by 11 racers, ever) and the second consecutive year he’s won at Interlagos. Meanwhile, Williams driver Felipe Massa was disqualified for running tires at higher temperatures and pressures than permitted.
