We’re suckers for good looking restored trucks, and in our patrolling of the web, we find some gems. This Cool Cruisers of Texas Restored FJ60 Cruiser is one of them.
A quick history lesson on the FJ60. The FJ60 was available during the years 1981-1987 powered by a 4.2 liter inline 6-cylinder engine (135 horsepower, and 210 ft-lbs torque @ 1800rpm) and 8.1 inches of ground clearance (CCOT has added an 3″ lift here), stock. With power steering, the ability to seat 5 or 7 passengers, air conditioning and dual heaters the FJ60 was as comfortable as it was utilitarian. Unlike it’s previous brothers (the FJ40, and FJ50), the FJ60 struck, to many, the right amount of rugged classic looks with modern creature comforts.
Plenty more photos after the jump.
By the way, if you’re prepping your checkbook for this particular FJ Cruiser you should know that it’s already too late, this brown beauty is sold. CCOT will be happy to work on your very own vintage truck.
