The 2024 Infiniti QX80, the brand’s flagship, three-row, body-on-frame, full-size SUV, is one of the oldest vehicles on the road. The current-generation model entered production back in April 2010. Infiniti is finally launching an all-new version of the QX80 for 2025.
Not surprisingly, Infiniti opted not to revive the half-bubble top look from the first generation. However, the new QX80 does have some key upgrades that should help it become a more credible rival for vehicles like the Lexus LX and the Range Rover.
Here’s what you need to know about the 2025 Infiniti QX80.
The Infiniti QX80 is switching to a V6
Infiniti is swapping the Nissan 5.6-liter V8 from the outgoing Titan for a new twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 with a 9-speed automatic transmission. The new setup produces 450 horsepower (+50 hp over previous-gen) and 516 lb-ft of torque (+103 lb-ft).
