Oakley Ellipse 50th Anniversary
To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Oakley overhauls its new-for-2025 Ellipse frames, which use the brand’s logo as the chief design element. This limited-edition colorway is finished in a Midas Fleck colorway that serves as a fitting backdrop for the Prizm 24K lenses. Each pair comes with a matching microbag and commemorative box.

2026 Aston Martin Vantage S
While the standard Vantage has been discontinued, the range-topping Vantage S is returning for 2026. But it’s not just making a comeback; it gets a boost to power, performance and refinement. It now has 670 horsepower, a 202 mph top speed and a zero-to-sixty time of just 3.3 seconds. That’s to say nothing of its exceptional good looks or its luxe interior. It wouldn’t be out of the question to call this the pinnacle of British automotive excellence.

Best Made Anglepoise Original 1227 Desk Lamp
Based on the original spring-mounted desk lamp, designed in 1935, this retro marvel has yet to be bested for desktop illumination. True to the original design, the arms and shade are made from gloss-painted aluminum, with a steel covered cast iron base. The shade diameter is 5.7-inches and the lamp has a maximum height of 36-inches.

Porsche x Almond Surf Guide California
There’s a ton of cool stuff in Porsche’s second collab with Costa Mesa-based Almond Surfboards, including hats, hoodies, towels and of course a limited run of 72 911 Carrera RS 2.7-inspired 6-foot swallowtail surfboards. And yet one of the most affordable and compelling items is this simple primer on California’s coastal parks, beaches and scenic roads and their bordering surf locations. Written by Almond Surfboards founder Dave Allee himself, it’s an evocative amuse-bouche to peruse while pondering shelling out $3K for a speedy and spectacular surfboard. Note: Currently listed as coming soon, the book’s product page lets you sign up to be notified when it is available.

Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Distiller’s Council Bourbon
Back in 1996, a group of master distillers all got together to work on a (somewhat) secret project. Now, in 2025, that project has come to light: a pre-prohibition-style bourbon made as faithfully as possible to the 19th-century bourbons once crafted at the O.F.C. Distillery. Bottled at 100 proof and kept in a vintage, Grecian glass decanter, it’s likely unlike any spirit most folks have ever tried. That also means its likely to be a massive collector’s must-have and will likely be hard to find. It will be available in limited-quantities nationwide at retail stores, restaurants and bars starting this month (July).
